Package: lvm2 Version: 2.03.02-3 The lvmcache(8) manpage claims that writecache support is available (I believe this was added in the 4.18 kernel) and gives this example to use it:
$ lvconvert --type writecache --cachepool fast vg/main But this doesn't actually work: # lvconvert --type writecache --cachepool lv_root_cache vg_test/lv_root WARNING: Unrecognised segment type writecache Invalid argument for --type: writecache Error during parsing of command line. Either there is a mistake and writecache support should be there, or lvmcache(8) probably shouldn't mention it. -- Chris Howie http://www.chrishowie.com http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Crazycomputers If you correspond with me on a regular basis, please read this document: http://www.chrishowie.com/email-preferences/ PGP fingerprint: 2B7A B280 8B12 21CC 260A DF65 6FCE 505A CF83 38F5 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ IMPORTANT INFORMATION/DISCLAIMER This document should be read only by those persons to whom it is addressed.
