Package: cryptsetup-initramfs
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

Recently, I installed a machine using the "Debian Bullseye Official
Snapshot amd64 DVD Binary-1 20190805-04:11". I chose to use an
encrypted LVM using the entire disk and continued to install the
system.

Unfortunately, after the installation had finished without any issues
(apparently), the system was unable to unlock the encrypted disk
during boot. I again booted from the installer image, unlocked the
disk, chrooted into the target system. There I noticed that no
initramfs support of cryptsetup was installed and manually installed
the package "cryptsetup-initramfs". The system was now able to boot.

Apparently, for some reason, cryptsetup-initramfs was not installed
automatically, although it was required for boot.

Best,
Maximilian
