Sorry for not replying earlier. I did not find time immediately to
check the console and then I got distracted by other issues and in the
end I simply forgot.

But recently epiphany-browser was updated in stable (current version
is now 3.32.1.2-3~deb10u1) and after I installed the update the issue
seems to have been fixed. I'm sending this from Epiphany. I've used it
for some days since the update and I haven't had any problems.

I guess this bug can be closed for now. I'll reopen it if the problem
surfaces again.
