Wait a sec. Isn't this what the debian menu system is supposed to do? I'm a bit lost here. I really thought that the debian menu system was enough here. Could you please point me to some sort of documentation about the relationship between debian menu system and desktop files? Thanks for your precious help concerning the packaging of widelands.
