snarf fails to cross build from source, because it configures for the build architecture. Usually, this is solved by passing a --host switch (and this is what dh_auto_configure does automatically). Unfortunately, snarf's configure is too old to understand that. Instead, one is supposed to export a cross compiler in CC. Please consider applying the attached patch. Helmut
