Package: enchant Version: 1.6.0-11.2 Severity: grave Justification: renders package unusable
Dear Maintainer, enchant 1.6.0-11.2 is uninstallable with hunspell (except en-us) because libenchant1c2a depends on a nonexistent hunspell-directory, which should probably be hunspell-dictionary, as requested in Bug#860888 <https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=860888>. Note the possibly unintended change from hunspell-dictionary to hunspell- directory when reordering libenchant1c2a dependencies: <https://salsa.debian.org/debian/enchant/commit/2774eca944a508a72b67c9ef51783a349bc9f5dc> - Depends: aspell-en | myspell-dictionary | aspell-dictionary | ispell- dictionary | hunspell-dictionary, + Depends: hunspell-en-us | hunspell-directory | aspell-dictionary | myspell- dictionary | ispell-dictionary, With hunspell-en-gb installed, dist-upgrade on unstable fails with: Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable distribution that some required packages have not yet been created or been moved out of Incoming. The following information may help to resolve the situation: The following packages have unmet dependencies: libenchant1c2a : Depends: hunspell-en-us but it is not going to be installed or hunspell-directory but it is not installable or aspell-dictionary or myspell-dictionary or ispell-dictionary E: Error, pkgProblemResolver::Resolve generated breaks, this may be caused by held packages.
