Package: nut-usb
Version: 2.0.3-4
Severity: important

Hi,

I've a mge Ellipse UPS connected with the usb port.
Since the upgrade to 2.0.3, I experience lost of driver connectivity.

After a while, I've the following in the syslog:
Mar 28 21:16:34 tangerine upsd[20379]: Data for UPS [mgeups] is stale - check
driver
Mar 28 21:16:36 tangerine upsd[20379]: Client on 127.0.0.1 logged out
Mar 28 21:16:36 tangerine upsd[20379]: UPS [mgeups] disconnected - check driver
Mar 28 21:16:36 tangerine upsd[20379]: Can't connect to UPS [mgeups]
(newhidups-auto): Connection refused
Mar 28 21:16:38 tangerine upsd[20379]: Connection from 127.0.0.1
Mar 28 21:16:38 tangerine upsd[20379]: Client on 127.0.0.1 logged out
Mar 28 21:16:38 tangerine upsmon[20382]: Poll UPS [EMAIL PROTECTED] failed -
Driver not connected
Mar 28 21:16:41 tangerine upsd[20379]: Connection from 127.0.0.1
Mar 28 21:16:41 tangerine upsd[20379]: Client on 127.0.0.1 logged out
Mar 28 21:16:43 tangerine upsmon[20382]: Poll UPS [EMAIL PROTECTED] failed -
Driver not connected
Mar 28 21:16:45 tangerine upsd[20379]: Connection from 127.0.0.1

The processes are still there:
20379 ? Ss 0:00 /sbin/upsd
20381 ? Ss 0:00 /sbin/upsmon
20382 ? S 0:00 /sbin/upsmon

I can restart nut and everything is running fine... for a while:
[EMAIL PROTECTED] % sudo /etc/init.d/nut restart ~
Restarting Network UPS Tools: (upsdrvctl failed) upsd upsmon.

I've an error message at start (see "variable not supported"):
Mar 28 21:18:24 tangerine newhidups[26278]: Startup successful
Mar 28 21:18:24 tangerine upsd[26279]: Connected to UPS [mgeups]:

But it works this way during several hours.
