Package: thinkpad-source Version: 5.9-2 Severity: important The 2.6.16 kernel seems unhappy with the thinkpad module's implementation of module options. When I tried to load the module, I got this error in the kernel log:
kernel: thinkpad: falsely claims to have parameter enable_thinkpadpm In a perhaps unrelated matter, module-assistant regards the 2.6.16-1-686 header tree to be "unconfigured". Nevertheless the module built and (almost) installed, so I assume this is not relevant to this problem. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.16-1-686 Locale: LANG=en_US, LC_CTYPE=en_US (charmap=ISO-8859-1) Versions of packages thinkpad-source depends on: ii debhelper 5.0.26 helper programs for debian/rules ii devscripts 2.9.15 Scripts to make the life of a Debi ii gcc [c-compiler] 4:4.0.3-1 The GNU C compiler ii gcc-3.4 [c-compiler] 3.4.6-1 The GNU C compiler ii gcc-4.0 [c-compiler] 4.0.3-1 The GNU C compiler ii make 3.80+3.81.rc2-1 The GNU version of the "make" util Versions of packages thinkpad-source recommends: ii dpkg-dev 1.13.17 package building tools for Debian ii kernel-package 10.039 A utility for building Linux kerne -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
