Yes, I'm keeping an eye on this package & the Noto Emoji font. It was a mistake for fonttools to drop its Python2 package as early as it did before important reverse dependencies had stopped using it. But that's happening frequently in Debian now and it's a bit too late to complain about it now. Jeremy
