Package: cryptsetup Version: 2:2.2.1-1 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer,
In the /etc/crypttab file the fourth, options field separates each option with a comma. The xchacha12,aes-adiantum-plain64 xchacha20,aes-adiantum-plain64 valid ciphers cannot be specified in the options field, because the comma is misinterpreted. The error message is: > cryptdisks_start <name> cryptsetup: WARNING: <name>: ignoring unknown option 'aes-adiantum-plain64' -- Package-specific info: -- /etc/crypttab # <target name> <source device> <key file> <options> test UUID=d0330173-088d-46a0-9c28-91446e2fbe70 none luks,cipher=xchacha12,aes-adiantum-plain64,size=256,hash=sha512 -- System Information: Debian Release: 10.1 APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 4.19.0-6-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Kernel taint flags: TAINT_WARN, TAINT_OOT_MODULE, TAINT_UNSIGNED_MODULE Locale: LANG=hu_HU.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=hu_HU.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=hu_HU.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages cryptsetup depends on: ii cryptsetup-bin 2:2.1.0-5+deb10u2 ii debconf [debconf-2.0] 1.5.71 ii dmsetup 2:1.02.155-3 ii libc6 2.28-10 Versions of packages cryptsetup recommends: ii cryptsetup-initramfs 2:2.1.0-5+deb10u2 ii cryptsetup-run 2:2.2.1-1 Versions of packages cryptsetup suggests: ii dosfstools 4.1-2 pn keyutils <none> ii liblocale-gettext-perl 1.07-3+b4 -- debconf information excluded
