Problem is: there are perhaps 100,000 or a million times more chrom(ium)
users. So it would be best to steer clear of their bindings, lest you
keep getting the same bug report from other users.

Do you mean in ~/.icewm/preferences if I do just
KeySysWinMenu=
it will now let Shift+Esc pass through to chromium unharmed?
If so, then please mention it as an example of how to unbind a key,
on icewm-preferences man page below the example
KeySysWinListMenu="Shift+Ctrl+Esc"
