Package: ftp.debian.org
Severity: normal

The recent LTSP upload seems to be missing the arch:all "ltsp" binary
from sid's Packages files...

< vagrantc> so, the packaging for "ltsp" was radically changed; it only
ships one arch:all package also named "ltsp" now rather than several
arch:all and arch:any ltsp-* packages... it went through NEW, landed
in experimental, and then i uploaded to unstable ... the buildd built
it, installed it ... but the "ltsp" package is not present in the
   Packages file for sid.

< vagrantc> it's been in unstable for two days now ... so it isn't just
that i haven't waited long enough...

< kibi> I think get rid of old binaries.

< vagrantc> i expected it to block migration, but i guess i was
surprised that the binaries aren't present in Packages at all

< kibi> a while ago and if I remember correctly, all packages only
showed up in $arch's Packages when the $arch build came up

 < vagrantc> they're even visible at
   https://deb.debian.org/debian/pool/main/l/ltsp/

< kibi> there are no such things here, so this might explain why it's
here (see rmadison) but not there.

 < kibi> transitioning (existing) packages from/to arch:all has always
been “fun” anyway; not sure whether you could be hitting another
   issue though

Thanks for your help!

live well,
  vagrant
