Package: usrmerge Version: 23 Severity: normal My sbuild configuration has build chroots with overlay fs, and my configuration has a chroot on ext4 and an overlay on top on tmpfs, but usrmerge fails to convert this system:
Setting up usrmerge (23) ... FATAL ERROR: Can't rename /bin: Invalid cross-device link at /usr/lib/convert-usrmerge line 242. You can try correcting the errors reported and running again /usr/lib/convert-usrmerge until it will complete without errors. Do not install or update other Debian packages until the program has been run successfully. I wanted to test one build with usrmerge and one build without by installing the usrmerge package on the second build, but apparently this is not possible with my current configuration. Not sure what it would take to make it possible to convert in such a scenario. My current workaround is to create another schroot chroot, but this seems a bit overkill. Thanks! live well, vagrant
