Hi Maintainer

A recent rebuild of gpsd with Python 3.8 failed [1].

I've copied what is hopefully the relevant part of the log below.

nmea2000 = False (default True): NMEA2000/CAN support
rtcm104v2 = False (default True): rtcm104v2 support
pps = False (default True): PPS time syncing support
dbus_export = False (default True): enable DBUS export support
bluez = False (default True): BlueZ support for Bluetooth devices
libgpsmm = False (default True): build C++ bindings
qt = False (default True): build QT bindings
magic_hat = False (default True): special Linux PPS hack for Raspberry Pi et al
nostrip = True (default False): don't symbol-strip binaries at link time
gpsd_user = gpsd (default nobody): privilege revocation user
prefix = /usr (default /usr/local): installation directory prefix
qt_versioned = 5 (default ): version for versioned Qt
target_python = python3.7 (default python): target Python version as command
docdir = /usr/share/doc/gpsd (default share/doc): documents directory
libdir = /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu (default lib): system libraries
RTCM2 regression tests suppressed because rtcm104v2 is off.
Part of the website build requires asciidoc, not installed.
