Hi,

I see that qemu-system-data 1:4.1-2 now Conflicts+Replaces sgabios.
On upgrades, this leads to the removal of libguestfs packages,
since libguestfs0 depends on sgabios:

Hmm. _Why_ libguestfs depends on sgabios?
Is it to use with qemu only, or does it have some other usage?

I especially looked at rdepends of sgabios before doing this,
and found no other packages using it besides qemu, perhaps I
looked not close enough.

If qemu-system-data now ships the files that libguestfs0 needs,
that were previously in the sgabios package,
perhaps qemu-system-data should have "Provides: sgabios",
so its co-installable with libguestfs packages?

Right now qemu-system-data does not really provides sgabios
in the way it used to be, because the file lives in a
different place. In order to provide sgabios, qemu-s-d
needs to provide compatibility symlink or something like
that.

But I really want to understand where libguestfs uses
sgabios before jumping in there.

And yes you're absolutely right, we should not uninstall
libguestfs like this!

Thanks,

/mjt
