Package: lftp
Version: 3.4.2-1
Severity: normal
Hello,
trying to put a foreground job into the background does not work:
lftp [EMAIL PROTECTED]:/> get archive.tgz
[0] get archive.tgz &
`archive.tgz' at 60816 (0%) 42.2K/s eta:45h [Receiving data]
lftp [EMAIL PROTECTED]:/> bg
Unknown command `bg'.
lftp [EMAIL PROTECTED]:/> fg
fg 0
Interrupt
lftp [EMAIL PROTECTED]:/>
The man page is a bit inconsistent about this: While it doesn't list a
'bg' command, it talks about using the 'bg' or 'fg' command later on.
In any case, I'd like to see this functionality added if not already in
(and broken).
Best,
