Thanks for your quick response to feedback! I think this revised patch looks like a good template for making build-tests cross-friendly. I left some comments on https://salsa.debian.org/ci-team/autopkgtest/merge_requests/69, but the only one that would affect build-tests like this was wondering whether (build-?)tests should be marked with `Features: cross` as an opt-in to being run in this way. smcv
