This package has a build-dependency on libpangox-1.0-dev, the Core X
backend for Pango, which has been deprecated since at least 2012, is
unmaintained upstream and is essentially unmaintained in Debian.
Using a general-purpose graphical toolkit such as GTK or Qt, or a
non-deprecated Pango backend with (such as Xft or Cairo), is recommended.
The severity of this bug might be increased in future if there is an
effort to remove libpangox-1.0-dev from Debian, but for the moment it's
normal-severity.
There doesn't seem to be a runtime dependency on libpangox-1.0-0, so
perhaps the build-dependency is unnecessary?
