Source: redshift Version: 1.12-2 Severity: important Tags: upstream Hello,
Redshift upstream doesn't have wayland support yet. There's an upstream bug (https://github.com/jonls/redshift/issues/55) that tracks this shortcoming. Unfortunately, upstream seems to be rather inactive. minus7 at Github created a fork of jonls/redshift that implements wayland support and it's working well with the sway window manager at least: https://github.com/minus7/redshift/tree/wayland https://github.com/swaywm/sway/wiki#redshift Would you consider to patch wayland support from the fork into the redshift Debian package? Another option would be to package the fork as new, separate package (e.g. `redshift-wlr`). Cheers jonas
