Package: rdesktop Version: 1.9.0-1 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer, attempting to support triaging another rdesktop bug I found there does not yet exist a dbgsym package.
I tried to find out why and guess this is caused by the strip command done in the Makefile. As stripping would be done by debhelper while packaging, I guess simplifying 80_handle_nostrip_option.patch to following would do: -STRIP = @STRIP@ +STRIP=/bin/true Kind regards, Bernhard -- System Information: Debian Release: bullseye/sid APT prefers unstable-debug APT policy: (500, 'unstable-debug'), (500, 'unstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 5.4.0-1-amd64 (SMP w/12 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=de_DE.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=de_DE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=de_DE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages rdesktop depends on: ii libasound2 1.1.9-1 ii libc6 2.29-7 ii libgmp10 2:6.1.2+dfsg-4 ii libgnutls30 3.6.11.1-2 ii libgssapi-krb5-2 1.17-6 ii libhogweed5 3.5.1+really3.5.1-2 ii libnettle7 3.5.1+really3.5.1-2 ii libpcsclite1 1.8.26-1 ii libtasn1-6 4.15.0-2 ii libx11-6 2:1.6.8-1 ii libxcursor1 1:1.2.0-2 ii libxrandr2 2:1.5.1-1 rdesktop recommends no packages.
