Beh! Please close the bug and sorry for disturbing you! I've just used the wrong keywords! I somehow thought I can use the same as with wireless-tools.
if-pre/wireless-tools gives error messages if present, but they don't hurt (just confuse) -- with the *right* keywords the interface will be braught up correctly.
