The big downside of mod_remoteip is that it requires to change the default LogFormat. I think that the current situation is not helping anybody. Some possible solutions are: - you actually ask for mod_rpaf to be removed from Debian - you package a modern version of mod_rpaf - you orphan the package and let somebody else adopt it so that they can package a modern version -- ciao, Marco
