Package: lyx Version: 2.3.4.2-2 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer,
Thank you very much for maintaining lyx!
It has been a venerable and trustworthy tool for
many years!
The main reason I'm writing is I may have
discovered a small bug.
Basically, some cross-references lead to the wrong
pages.
I'll attach 3 files that I hope you can use to
duplicate the problem:
1.) A very short .lyx file named "bug.lyx".
2.) A PDF of it, created with the following menu
path
File->Export->PDF (ps2pdf)
3.) A screen shot of the mismatched page numbers I
see.
Maybe you'll see them too.
I expected
a.) hoovering the mouse's pointer over the page
number "2" in the red cross-reference box
to pop up a yellow tool tip that said
"Go to page 2."
But it says
"Go to page 1."
b.) clicking on the page number "2" in the red
cross-reference box to advance to page 2.
But it stays on page 1.
Most cross-references in a bigger, real life, .lyx
file have correct page numbers.
