Hello Gerrit Could you confirm the behavior of iotop?
These are my results: $ sudo iostat ALL Linux 5.4.0-4-amd64 (debian) 18/03/20 _x86_64_ (4 CPU) avg-cpu: %user %nice %system %iowait %steal %idle 23,39 0,09 8,69 2,08 0,00 65,74 Device tps kB_read/s kB_wrtn/s kB_dscd/s kB_rea d kB_wrtn kB_dscd sda 10,26 96,15 91,01 0,00 3901930 9 36931337 0 scd0 0,00 0,00 0,00 0,00 0 0 0 $ uname -a Linux debian 5.4.0-4-amd64 #1 SMP Debian 5.4.19-1 (2020-02-13) x86_64 GNU/Linux There are no data for r/s, w/s, d/s or f/s. Man page for iostat states that the result contain only data that are provided by the kernel. AFAIK, the kernel is not collecting this info. Greetings, Marcos.
