I today learned that libunity and its gobject introspection bindings are not packaged in Debian. Rapid Photo Downloader will still run without gir1.2-unity-5.0.
If packaging libunity and its bindings would cause a non-trivial delay to packaging this new release of Rapid Photo Downloader, I think it best to update the rapid-photo-downloader package without gir1.2-unity-5.0, and then if and when libunity and its bindings are packaged, updating the rapid-photo-downloader package to include gir1.2-unity-5.0.
