Help always arrives better late than never! > i do concur that forw -mime, with a plain 'send' at the whatnowproc prompt > does not translate #forw... directives; i just tried it with a trivial > .mh_profile. > > however: as far as i can tell that is working as designed! Blech. What a regression from version 1.6! Your explanation was super helpful! I visited the man page you cited, and I have managed to create a workaround. For others who might see this bug report: In `.mh_profile', I set `buildmimeproc` to point to a small shell script that acts as a shim. The script searches its argv for `-auto`, and it inserts `-directives` immediately after `-auto. This seems to do the trick! Thanks for your help! Norman P.S. I find it depressing that the upstream release notes don't even mention the loss of automimeproc and associated functionality.
