Only breaking changes in responders 3.0 is dropping support for rails < 4.2 and ruby < 2.4.
I have pushed a commit to master relaxing responders in src/api/Gemfile. Please upload obs-api with this fix so I can upload ruby-responders 3.0 to unstable.
