Source: freerdp2 Severity: normal Hi!
First, sorry about the almost empty mail to the list, I was trying to abort, but somehow I managed to send :-( The thing is that when I tested freerdp2-shadow-x11 I saw that auth was not working when being run as a user, I couldn't authenticate with current user password. Googling a bit I came across some old reports, namely: https://github.com/FreeRDP/FreeRDP/issues/2775 https://github.com/FreeRDP/FreeRDP/issues/3144 That say that you need to compile with libpam0g-dev for that to work. I have tested that with 2.0.0~git20190204.1.2693389a+dfsg1-2 and yes, it worked Ok after compiling with libpam0g-dev enabled, so, if there isn't any security risks in doing so, can you please add this build-dep in order to fix the auth bug?
