I'm curious if there's some problem with Goffredo's patch which hasn't been acknowledged. (In fact the bug itself hasn't been.) This is a grave functionality bug rendering the package uninstallable for all users upgrading from an installation of Buster. Certainly sid is sid, but as it required a NMU to fix this bug the first time four years ago and the package hasn't been touched since except to upload a new upstream without the patch.
Has anyone heard from Nathan? Things are a little worrying in the outside world just now. Joseph
