Package: apt Version: 0.6.43.3 One is supposed to be able to rm -fr /usr/share/doc without any functional consequence or change in behaviour, but the apt postinstall script will attempt to copy a "template" sources.list from doc/examples/ if /etc/apt/sources.list doesn't exist.
