* What led up to the situation?
Some machines running Debian 9 have been upgraded to Debian 10. After upgrading
to Debian 10, Keepalived would segfault on startup.
* What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
ineffective)?
I have found the problem to be 'resolved' when removing the `smtp_server`
directive.
After debugging, I found a commit fixing this (GitHub commit: fccdeba) merged
into Keepalived version 2.0.11.
Keepalived 2.0.11 is not available in the repos yet, while Keepalived is now
'broken' for many users with quite a standard setup.
I think it would be wise to backport this commit into the currently available
Keepalived package for Debian 10.
