#917571 removed xtell (RoM), stating that instant messaging is done differently today. I agree, and the same is true for orville-write. Also, orville-write appears to FTBFS with gcc-10 (#957648), and also diverts mesg(1), and relies on alternatives for write(1). xtell used this alternatives system too, and obviously bsdmainutils ships the default implementation. Now, write(1) wants to move to src:util-linux, and if I don't have to keep the alternatives stuff alive for this, I'd be a lot happier. Thanks, an obviously biased Chris
