Package: watchdog
Version: 5.2.4-2
Severity: minor

     Hi,

The manpage has a typo in option "-b | --softboot", there's no "-n"
 option anymore.

I can't tell precisely what "-b" does, reading the source code it seems
to try to shutdown the system as shutdown would do it (with unmounts
etc.), only more aggressively, but I can't tell exactly when it is
trigerred, I have th efeeling it is trigerred immediately, on the firts
error reached, even if we're within a retry loop. :-/

I would have provided a patch if I understood softboot, sorry not to
 provide one.

   Bye,
