Package: smartmontools Version: 5.33+5.34cvs20050802-4 Severity: normal smartd reports incorrect temperatures for an EIDE hard drive:

However, hddtemp is able to report a more reasonable value:
$ hddtemp /dev/hda

According to smartctl, this appears to be the 'RAW_VALUE', while smartd
is reporting the 'VALUE':
