>From the core dump, the problem was due to the way print_device() was
using libpci functions. But since libpci is optional, the package
should not give any problem if you dont have libpci as a dependency.

Please go ahead. I don't want to package something which I know has a
very easily reproducible bug and I have not seen any reply from
upstream to my mail with the problem and the coredump.
