Package: muscle Version: 3.52-2 Severity: important Dear Steffen,
The Debian muscle package does not build on powerpc, but the new upstream release corrects this. I copied the debian directory from your muscle package in the sources of the 3.6 releases, applied your patch on the makefile and commented the line making the doc in debian/rules. With this, debian/rules binary produces a funcitonnal package. I tested muscle on bHLH proteins, it is amazingly fast! (but I did not check the quality). http://www.drive5.com/muscle/downloads3.6/muscle3.6_src.tar.gz Have a nice day, -- Charles Plessy Wako, Saitama, Japan -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: powerpc (ppc64) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.16farm Locale: LANG=fr_FR.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=fr_FR.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
