In 2 days and 70+ rebuilds we have gitlab working with ruby 2.7 (just tested git clone and git push).
Once you confirm, I can push these packages to fasttrack.debian.net
Sorry, I cannot test it any more because in the meantime I migrated to the omnibus packages.
