Thank you for the bugreport, this issue was addressed by upstream and a release containing the fix is yet to be made. Upstream commit: https://github.com/WayneD/rsync/commit/5dcb49c7ddec765d4a24b4f801ffc7212c085db1 I'm gonna investigate if the fix applies cleanly to the 3.2.2 release (which is most likely to be the case) and will push a new package in the next few minutes/hours.
