Package: bridge-utils Version: 1.6-2 Severity: important -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA256
On hosts using Predictable Network Interface Names (e.g.enp4s0) "bridge_ports all" in /etc/network/interfaces fails at making the bridge find any interface. None of the interfaces shown in "ip addr" show that br0 is their master. The kludge is to explicitly specify all desired interfaces as a space-separate list. Then the bridge indeed finds all interfaces, but this obviously eschews the whole point of using "all" as the interfaces to bind. - -- System Information: Debian Release: 10.4 APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 4.19.0-9-amd64 (SMP w/8 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=fi_FI.utf8, LC_CTYPE=fi_FI.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=fi_FI.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages bridge-utils depends on: ii libc6 2.28-10 bridge-utils recommends no packages.
