Package: gnome-disk-utility Version: 3.30.2-3 Severity: normal
Dear Maintainer, * What led up to the situation? After switching off "SMART Data & Self-Tests" for a disk, it is occasionally switched back on again after reboot. I apply this setting to several disks (three), they seem to be affected independently. Thus e.g.: for all three disks SMART is switched off, after reboot it is switched on for one an remains off for two of them. The behavior seems to be randomly. (I do that switching off because otherwise the disks do not go to standby, which is different story). * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or ineffective)? I repeatedly switched SMART off. I observed this behavior since I first used gnome disks some years ago (always using Debian stable).
