I do realize that this is a very old bug, but I thought I would give it a chance anyway.
One of my users has requested alpine with maildir support on one of our servers. According to tracker.debian.org the homepage for the project is: http://alpine.x10host.com/alpine/ Apparently, they also provide patches for maildir support on their site: http://alpine.x10host.com/alpine/info/maildir.html Is there any possibility that this patch can be applied for the alpine version in testing, followed by an updated backport to buster-backports?
