Logging into sway, my changes to $PATH were not run.
* What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
ineffective)?
I set .profile to create a new file when run.
* What was the outcome of this action?
This file is created in GNOME, but not created in sway.
* What outcome did you expect instead?
I expected the file to be created in both GNOME and sway,
thus indicating that .profile ran.
