Package: solaar Version: 1.0.3+dfsg-1 Severity: normal X-Debbugs-Cc: g...@nonempty.org
Dear Maintainer, As of recently, solaar seems to be autostarting both on the system tray and as a standalone application window. Upstream ships share/autostart/solaar.desktop. It starts solaar with the --window=hide option, which causes it to launch without the main application window. This seems like a more appropriate behavior, but the Debian package instead installs a /etc/xdg/autostart/solaar.desktop that launches solaar without said option. -- System Information: Debian Release: bullseye/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (990, 'testing'), (500, 'unstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 5.7.0-3-amd64 (SMP w/6 CPU threads) Kernel taint flags: TAINT_OOT_MODULE, TAINT_UNSIGNED_MODULE Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_US:en Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages solaar depends on: ii adduser 3.118 ii debconf [debconf-2.0] 1.5.74 ii gir1.2-ayatanaappindicator3-0.1 0.5.5-2 ii gir1.2-gtk-3.0 3.24.22-1 ii gir1.2-notify-0.7 0.7.9-1 ii passwd 1:4.8.1-1 ii python3 3.8.2-3 ii python3-gi 3.36.1-1 ii python3-pyudev 0.21.0-3 ii udev 246.3-1 Versions of packages solaar recommends: ii python3-dbus 1.2.16-3 ii upower 0.99.11-2 solaar suggests no packages. -- debconf information excluded
