Been struggling with the test suites, which make some guix specific
assumptions and various other failures. Last I tried the packaging
branch above it did actually work (with the test suite results ignored),
but that was a while ago.

I'd like to transition to guile-3.0, but a blocker for that is
guile-gnutls test suite issues with recent versions of guile 3.x.

The upcoming release of guix (whenever that might be) will actually
include proper authentication of updates, which I think would be needed
for uploading to anything other than experimental.

I've been tempted to upload to experimental to try and get the NEW queue
processing going while those issues get sorted out, but haven't had a
lot of time or other excuse to work on it.

Would love to see progress on it, though, if anyone could lend a hand!
