Dear Maintainer,

ipmctl 02.00.00.3809+ds-1 which ships with Debian buster-backports,
bullseye and sid breaks the Intel Optane DC PMEM aka Apache path (AEC).

There was a regression, as stated in the fix committed just before
version 02.00.00.3820 :
https://github.com/intel/ipmctl/commit/9e3898cb15fa9eed3ef3e9de4488be1681d53ff4

We indeed currently have problems in our platform[1] composed of 4 Dell
R640 equipped with Intel Optane DC PMEM, when using ipmctl
02.00.00.3809+ds-1 to change the goal from Memory Mode to App Direct (or
vice versa). It just breaks the PMEM system: even from BIOS, it's
impossible to fix the config afterward. The only option is to
sanitize/reset to factory default (which takes ~30min each time!).
