Hi, just in case it's useful: I have just tested this issue in an updated Arch system and the problem doesn't exists (I think I tested it some time before and then problem was present, so, I suppose it get fixed).
This is the version: leafpad 0.8.18.1-9 https://www.archlinux.org/packages/extra/x86_64/leafpad/ + https://github.com/archlinux/svntogit-packages/commit/deff4df70f9cf9e2ed3fd1438acd762c943d3ca2#diff-8d0411b338c83cd8cd8ad9d9db127101 But I can't see if there's something useful there...
