They do: admin@ip-10-0-0-252:~$ ec2metadata --ami-id ; ec2metadata --availability-zone ; ec2metadata --instance-type ; cat /etc/debian_version ; uname -a ami-0d2c5c43cf2ea11a3 us-west-2a t4g.medium 10.6 Linux ip-10-0-0-252 4.19.0-11-arm64 #1 SMP Debian 4.19.146-1 (2020-09-17) aarch64 GNU/Linux Are you trying to launch from the AWS Marketplace? They might not be listed as supporting t4g there, since last time I checked, the Marketplace UI didn't actually have an option to select t4g support. The only issue with the current AMIs on t4g is that they don't support CPU steal-time accounting, which might make it in to 10.7 if the kernel team is willing to merge https://salsa.debian.org/kernel-team/linux/-/merge_requests/268 noah
