Actually, it seems as though I can't reproduce the problem any more -- the print dialog and plugin dialog both work properly. No idea what fixed it, since mozilla-firefox hasn't been upgraded since I filed the report. If no one else has experienced whatever problem this was, I guess you can probably close this report.
