Actually, though the bugs look related, they aren't.  That bug is about
installing Google-specific extensions to chromium by default.  This one
regards enabling a setting.  To be clear, the change wouldn't enable it
for everyone: it would only make it possible for it to be enabled by a
savvy user.

I agree.  I would rather not have to install Chrome manually,
especially when such a minor change could make the difference.

I agree here, too.  It looks like your trying to maintain packaging for
one of the largest open-source projects on your own (at least, with
only 1 other person helping).  If you need a hand, just ask!
