Hi,
attached is a patch that fixes these two bugs. There's also an updated
package available here[1b][1s] which contains one further cosmetic change to
the configure script, see debdiff[2] and the changelog stanza:

cadaver (0.23.3-2.2) unstable; urgency=low
* Non-maintainer upload.
* (configure) Allow building with more recent versions of libneon.
Previous versions were claiming to build with the bundled libneon 0.29.1,
but used the more recent system one (0.30) anyway because build of the
bundled version failed without aborting the overall compilation.
This change thus only documents the (well-seasoned) status quo.
* Fix quoting issues. Closes: #333431, #783052.
